#100 They Know Your Favorite Flavor

Last night, my friends and I felt the need to make a Cookout run. Milkshakes were calling our names, and our bellies were responding.

We drove up to that big sign, with all the flavors of phenomenal milkshakes lit up and grinning at us. Jenny called out to us, "What do you want?". Lauren, Michelle, and Deanna all quickly spouted off their flavor of choice. And before I could even reply, Michelle stated firmly "Jamie's going to get a Cheesecake Chocolate Chip" (which is the best flavor, in case you didn't know. If you haven't tried it, stop reading. Go to a Cookout. Get one. Now).

Yup, we are friends. Michelle knows my favorite Cookout milkshake flavor.

You know you're friends when...

My friends and I have funny ways of showing our love for each other. And in thinking about it, I've found there are levels of friendship. You have The Acquaintance, that person you had a class with but sat on the other side of the room, so you "know" them, but don't know them. Then there's The Just-Facebook-Friend, who you met once, thought you 'connected', and now all you do is creep on their pictures and statuses (stati?). Then there's The Split-Your-Sides Friend, who you can do just about anything with (or to), and you both will just die laughing about it.

This blog is for that last category. Those friends who make life pretty dang awesome. And we want to chronicle the signs of that friendship. What makes it special.

Here goes nothing.
