#99 "Have a Sip"

On one occasion, Jamie and I went to Southpoint Mall because I needed to buy a birthday present for someone. Even though she had no reason to go, Jamie came anyway. That's a good friend. But that's not was this is about, anyway.
After messing around with the merchandise in Urban Outfitters, exclaiming at the prices of a few items, and some pretty awesome window shopping at Anthropologie, we got hungry. So, we went to the food court. As we sat eating and chatting, Jamie reached for my drink. I gave her a look that clearly had "What do you think you're doing?" written all over it. Her hand halfway toward my drink, she hesistated and asked, "Could I have some of your drink?" I was reluctant to say yes, not because I'm greedy and refills on food court drinks aren't free, but because I'm a complete germaphobe when it comes to sharing dishes. I don't even let my sisters drink after me. Jamie could tell that I wasn't completely okay with it and quickly explained that she always drinks her friends' drinks. Her good friends. A little part of me smiled inside and I let her have some of my food court fountain drink.
That was the official beginning. Now I let her drink to her heart's desire; we all have germs anyway, right? I still don't let my sisters though.
